Information we collect

Account and identity
  • Shoppers: Name, email, password, shipping and billing information, order history.
  • Vendors: Store name, business profile, contact details, storefront assets (logo, images), communications.
Payments and withdrawals
  • Shoppers: Payment method tokens via processors (e.g., PayPal/Stripe). We do not store full card numbers.
  • Vendors: Payout details (bank account/PayPal identifiers), tax information where legally required.
Device and usage
  • IP address, device type, browser, operating system, referring/exit pages, timestamps.
  • Site interactions (clicks, pages visited, forms submitted) for analytics, performance, and security.
Support and communications
  • Messages, emails, and support tickets between you and Fyrshop.
  • Vendor–shopper messages exchanged through platform tools may be logged for fraud prevention.

How we use information

  • Provide Services: Account creation, order processing, vendor onboarding, payouts.

Obligations

Vendor responsibilities

  • Data handling: Vendors must process shopper data received via Fyrshop in compliance with applicable privacy laws.
  • Security: Protect shopper data from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction.
  • Use limits: Use shopper data only to fulfill orders, provide customer service, and meet legal obligations.
  • Retention: Retain data only as long as necessary for stated purposes or legal requirements.
  • Breach notice: Notify Fyrshop and affected shoppers without undue delay if a data incident occurs.
Independent controller

Vendors act as independent controllers of shopper data they receive; Fyrshop is not responsible for vendors’ off‑platform processing.

  • Deletion: Request deletion where legally permitted and not in conflict with obligations (e.g., tax records).
  • Opt-outs: Manage cookies and certain communications via account settings or browser controls.

Limits

Limitation of liability

  • Platform role: Fyrshop provides marketplace technology; we are not a seller or party to transactions.
  • No product liability: Fyrshop is not liable for product quality, safety, legality, descriptions, or delivery.
  • Vendor conduct: Fyrshop is not responsible for vendors’ off‑platform use or misuse of shopper data.
  • Indirect damages: To the fullest extent permitted by law, Fyrshop disclaims liability for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages.
  • Cap: Where liability cannot be disclaimed, it is limited to the lesser of amounts paid to Fyrshop for Services during the prior 12 months or a statutory minimum.
These limitations apply to privacy‑related claims and broader use of the Services. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain disclaimers; in those cases, limits apply to the maximum extent permitted.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in laws, our Services, or operational practices. We will post updates here and adjust the “Last updated” date. Continued use of Fyrshop after changes constitutes acceptance.
